Multiple Coverage Maps
The Otto Driving Companion Model OM0405 was designed to support your home coverage map including all required alert notification sounds. In some cases multiple maps can be added to the device at one time, depending on the size of the maps and what sounds you have chosen. If you are trying to fit an additional map onto your device, you can try disabling some alert sounds to make room.
As more alerts are added, the size of your home coverage map may grow and it may no longer be possible to fit more than one map on your Otto at a time. In this case you can simply return to the website when you travel to download the appropriate map to your device.
Model PM2626 comes pre-loaded with all currently available coverage maps. A special promotional price is available to existing users of the model OM0405 Otto to upgrade to a PM2626 model. Please contact sales at sales@persentech.com for details.
Note:
Downloading multiple maps or any coverage map other than your home map requires that you be subscribed to the map roaming service.
Alberta Users can load both Edmonton and Calgary on the OM0405 model. To do this, you will need to disable the “Hazardous Intersection” alert by following the procedure below:
1. Remove all maps from the device by browsing to www.myottomate.com -> Configure Otto -> Coverage Maps2. Select Personalization and de-select School Zones and Playgrounds, Hazardous Intersections and Deer Crossings
3. Select Coverage Maps and load the Edmonton Map first, then the Calgary Map.
4. Select Personalization and select School Zones and Playgrounds with the voice prompts "School Zone" and "Playground"
